             Open Studios

All members are welcome to join in these untutored sessions held at the Goods Shed between. Do whatever you like in the medium of your choice.
Always a great day, well attended and a wonderful working atmosphere with friendly company. Those taking part always comment on how beneficial it is working among others who are so supportive. Donation of $3 is required towards upkeep.

           Camera Club

The Camera Club is one of the newer groups established within the auspices of the Bass Coast Artists' Society. It's inaugural meeting attracted twelve participants with a large range of suggestions for future classes. It has regular guests speakers on a variety of photographic subjects, special IT demonstrations, field trips to expand the outdoor facets of photography and the study of digital cameras and their capabilities. The group meets at the Goods Shed Art Space commencing 1.30 pm each 3rd Saturday of the month unless otherwise notified. New members are welcome. A photographic exhibition section has been established at the Goods Shed's Gallery. The
coordinator is David Henry.

                 Life Drawing

By drawing from the figure we are taught to look, observe, really “see” the subject. All the elements learnt from drawing from the live figure carry into our other work - painting in all its mediums, sculpture, carving and so on. Open to all members, wherever you are on your art journey - novice or more experienced- and there is no “show and tell” at the end unless you wish. These sessions are not tutored or structured, using the medium of your choice. Easels and seating are provided and we have many wonderful models as subjects.
Cost is $25 to cover the cost of model and  towards tea, coffee, etc, and general upkeep of the Goods Shed studio.
